You are probably paying full price where you do not have to

Most monthly spending in India goes to the same handful of places - groceries, quick commerce, food delivery, fuel, a fashion order, a pharmacy run. Those brands sell discounted vouchers, and almost nobody uses them, because remembering to buy a voucher before paying is friction nobody wants at the checkout.

How much this is actually worth

Small percentages on repeated spending, which is the only kind of saving that compounds without you doing anything differently.

    • • Rs 15,000 a month across these categories at a 3 to 8 percent discount is roughly Rs 5,400 to Rs 14,400 a year
    • • It requires no change in what you buy, where you buy it, or how much you spend
    • • The saving comes from repetition - two or three brands you use every month beat twenty you use once
    • • It stacks with whatever your credit card already earns on that spend

    How a voucher actually works

    • • You buy a voucher for a fixed amount and pay less than that amount
    • • You pay with the voucher at the brand, at full value
    • • The difference is yours, and it is realised at the moment of purchase rather than as points you may never redeem
    • • No account is needed here - email and a verified mobile number, because the code is cash-equivalent and has to reach you

What to check before you buy one

A voucher code cannot be refunded, exchanged or cancelled once it is issued, so these are worth thirty seconds each time.

    • • Online or in-store. 222 of the 485 brands in this catalogue are in-store only, and an in-store code will not work on the brand’s app
    • • The expiry, which is set by the brand and not by us
    • • Whether the brand allows a voucher to be combined with an ongoing offer - some do not
    • • Buy for spending you were going to do anyway. A voucher for a brand you rarely use is not a discount, it is a prepayment

Brands people use most from this catalogue

Zepto, Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, Zomato, BigBasket and Amazon Fresh for groceries and quick commerce. Flipkart, Amazon, Myntra, AJIO, Nykaa and Tata Cliq for shopping. Domino’s, Pizza Hut, KFC, Starbucks and Barbeque Nation for eating out. MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Cleartrip and Uber for travel. Croma, IKEA, Decathlon, Lifestyle, Westside and Pantaloons in store. Roughly 485 brands in total, with discounts set by each brand.

    Common questions

    Are discounted brand vouchers genuine?
The vouchers here are issued by the brand through our distribution partner, not generated by us. The discount is a distribution margin the brand allows, which is why it is a few percent rather than a headline offer. Discounts and validity are set by the brand.
Can I get a refund on a voucher?
No. A voucher code is cash-equivalent, so once it is issued it cannot be refunded, exchanged or cancelled. This is why the redemption type and terms are shown before payment rather than after.
Do I need a Unyfy account to buy a voucher?
No. You need an email address and a mobile number, and the mobile is verified by OTP before payment because that is where the code is delivered.
How much can I realistically save?
Discounts run to around 8 percent depending on the brand. On Rs 15,000 a month of spending in the categories these brands cover, that is roughly Rs 5,400 to Rs 14,400 a year, with no change to what you buy.
Should I do this before clearing credit card debt?
No. A revolving credit card balance costs roughly 36 to 42 percent a year, which is several times more than any discount channel returns. Clear that first, then optimise ordinary spending.
